University of Wisconsin Summer Engineering Summer Program (ESP) A free, six-week residential program for students who will be high school juniors or seniors in the upcoming school year. The ESP course curriculum includes math, physics, chemistry, engineering, and technical communications. Other structured programming such as industry site visits, field trips, guest lectures, workshops, and faculty mentoring will help students gain a better understanding of the field of engineering and its applications. The Lincoln Laboratory Radar Introduction for Student Engineers (LLRISE) A summer workshop teaching students how to build small radar systems. Inspiring Girls Expeditions Each year we select expedition teams of 8-9 teenage girls and 3 instructors to spend 12 days exploring and learning about a remote wilderness environment. The Summer Academy for Math and Science (SAMS) An opportunity for students from underrepresented communities to explore STEM-related fields and earn college credit. - NSBE HISIG and NIIMBL are hosting a Biopharm eXperience program. It's a hands-on, expenses-paid week-long program for NSBE freshmen and sophomores to gain real-world insight into career possibilities in biopharmaceutical manufacturing. This program is open to college students enrolled at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) or historically underrepresented minority students at NIIMBL member academic institutions. - The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) in partnership with Apple is proud to present the Apple HBCU Scholars Program to outstanding students attending a Historically Black College or University.
